Troy D. Gibson, MS, OTR/L, CHT
New York State licensed in occupational therapy (OTR) and a Certified hand therapist (CHT) specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation with over 10 years of experience.

Achieved advanced certification through the Hand Therapy Certification Committee in 2007
Clinical focus is conservative and post-operative care of patients with upper extremity pain and dysfunction including carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures, tendonitis, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis management, amputations, and other disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow.
Troy attends upper extremity conferences and frequently participates in on-line courses to maintain his certification in Hand Therapy (80+ hours every 5 years is required).
In addition to his clinical expertise, Troy has worked on various grant projects for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and is published in the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses Journal (AAOHN)in the area of Ergonomics.
Troy also is a clinical supervisor for O.T. students from the University at Buffalo, Utica College, and D'Youville College.
Jennifer Vaugh, PT CHT
Jennifer is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)specializing in orthopedic and traumatic injuries. She enjoys fabricating custom orthoses for the upper extremity. She also enjoys working with patients with arthritis, offering them a variety of custom orthoses to choose from and helping them to discover strategies for joint protection and ergonomics for a successful and pain-free return to the activities of daily living.
Jennifer is a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). She received her BS in Biological Sciences from The State University of New York College at Geneseo, a Certificate in Health Care Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and her BS in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, NY. She completed an Internship at the Hand & Shoulder Center of Western NY in Buffalo NY before joining a private practice after graduation from her PT program.
Professional development is important to Jennifer, she actively pursues educational opportunities through conferences and specialty course work. She is an experienced Graston Technique practitioner and has completed Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) through RockTape. She is a member of the American Society for Hand Therapy (ASHT) and enjoyed attending their 2019 conference in Washington DC. Since moving “home” to Buffalo in 2021 she’s been able to participate in the ASHT virtual conferences.
Jennifer recently moved back to WNY with her husband and their three cats. Everyone loves their new house and neighborhood. They especially don’t miss the DC Metro traffic and long commutes. Outside of the PT Clinic Jennifer enjoys a variety of hobbies such as gardening, paper crafting and attended her first cookie decorating convention recently. On weekends she loves to see shows at Sheas and go to concerts. Oh, and she LOVES fun and colorful shoes.
